BiographyBorn in Russia, Kosso grew up in Israel where he developed his love of, and lifelong commitment to art, especially sculpture. In 1969 he settled permanently in Toronto, and integrated himself into his adopted country. He has over 20 public sculptures in the Toronto area and some 44 around the world. A few of the most significant works include: Time in Kingston, Ontario, Canadac in Hamilton, Ontario, Signalos in Mexico City, Candchin at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, China and Zen West which took the Henry Moore Prize in Japan in 1981.
